HAVING AVOIDED FINANCIAL DISASTER with YIP! YIP! YPSILANTI! through the generosity of Jake's newfound generous friend Ying, Hank now set his sites further east. Hank had read about some fishy doings in TROUBLED WATERS magazine, and wished to see for himself what was out of plumb in the land of the Rising Sun. Jake protested, arguing they go to China to catch up with Ying, who had promised Jake a private tour of Ying's knockoff antique Ham Radio manufacturing facility. A compromise was reached, as they would visit Ying and his factory after the shoot.
